At Craft Forge Lab, every piece starts as an idea: a sketch, a photo, a favorite character, or a gift that doesn't exist yet. 3D printing is the tool that allows us to turn that digital idea into a real object that you can touch, give as a gift, and keep.
1. From sketch to 3D model
Everything starts with the design. We take your idea or one of our collections and model it in 3D: proportions, details, base, and, if it is a custom piece, the name or dedication. In this phase, we review how it will be manufactured so that the piece is sturdy and looks good from all angles.
2. Layer-by-layer printing
With the model ready, the 3D printer builds the piece layer by layer. This allows us to create shapes that would be very difficult to achieve with other techniques: the scales of a dragon, the plumage of a phoenix, the folds of a cloak, or the features of a religious figure.
3. Laser cutting and engraving
In pieces such as our wooden Advent calendars or custom trophies, we combine 3D printing with laser cutting and engraving, ideal for names, dates, and texts with a clean and durable finish.
4. Hand finishing
Once printed, each piece is inspected and finished with attention to detail: cleaning, touch-ups, and, in some pieces, hand painting. It is the part that turns a printed object into a piece with character.
